Dr. Amy Pratt was raised in Clearwater, Florida, where she developed a lifelong passion for animals — especially cats and dogs. In high school, she competed in equestrian hunter/jumper events and spent countless hours working with horses. That hands-on experience sparked her desire to care for animals herself, leading her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, she expanded her knowledge in animal sciences and agriculture.

Dr. Amy received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Florida in 2019 and completed her veterinary acupuncture certification at Chi University in Reddick, Florida, allowing her to offer integrative treatment options that combine traditional and holistic medicine.

Today, Dr. Amy is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate veterinary care — bringing high-quality medicine directly to your doorstep.

Christina Sawyer was raised in Arizona and relocated to Florida in 1997. After proudly serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps and spending several years in technology industry management, she followed her lifelong passion for animals into veterinary medicine. Christina brings over 22 years of experience in the veterinary field, having served as an ambulatory technician, laboratory director, and practice manager.

A St. Leo University alumna, Christina combines clinical expertise with strong operational leadership. Outside of veterinary medicine, she owns and manages a beef production herd, reflecting her deep roots in agriculture and animal care. Christina has been with Amy’s Veterinary Services since its inception and plays an integral role in the growth and day-to-day success of the practice.
